BE Ultimate and the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) have released the official jersey designs for all 24 teams in the 2024 season, including both home and away versions. The league also announced an extension of the BE Ultimate partnership through the 2027 season, adding an additional three years to the agreement. Since 2023, BE Ultimate has provided all on-field and warm-up apparel for the league.
Touching all corners of our league, each UFA team will showcase new jerseys for the 2024 season, featuring the organization’s primary logo, color scheme, local sponsor and the league’s official partner in Power Up Trail Mix. The mission of BE Ultimate is to enable and inspire athletes, trainers, coaches and teams to be “Better than Ever.” From sport to community, BE is building ultimate into a legitimate, recognized sport, while leading as a socially and environmentally conscious company. In 2023, the league also introduced the “BE The Change” award, honoring one current player each season who has given their time and energy to have an outstanding positive impact in their local community. Last season’s winner was Rafael Castro of the Oakland Spiders. A teacher in Oakland, Castro gives his time to helping underserved communities in the region. He often integrates team events and charitable work, specifically addressing the homeless population in the East Bay area.
BE Ultimate is both B Corp and Climate Neutral certified. B Corp is a third party evaluation and accreditation system for businesses looking to widen their impact, both socially and environmentally, and be held accountable for their practices. The 2024 UFA season begins on Friday, April 26, with nine games slated for week 1, including the inaugural "Super Series" matchup between the DC Breeze and Salt Lake Shred on April 27. All Super Series games can be streamed live and for free on the UFA YouTube channel.
