Kevin Pettit-Scantling and Colin Camp have been named Madison Radicals captains for the upcoming 2020 season. Both were members of the 2018 Radicals team that won an AUDL championship, and together have 170 games of professional experience in the regular season and playoffs. Madison is coming off their worst season in franchise history, finishing 6-6 and missing the playoffs for the first time ever.
A member of the Radicals since their founding in 2013, Pettit-Scantling has embodied the defensive tenacity that has made Madison one of the league's most formidable franchises. He is second all-time in team history in blocks, and has generated 20+ in each of his past three seasons. A 2018 All-AUDL selection, Pettit-Scantling is routinely considered to be one of the AUDL's top defenders.
Since joining the team in 2015, Camp has been the Radicals most prolific scorer. He holds franchise records for most goals in team history (150), as well as the single-season high (39 in 2017); he has averaged 30 goals per season. Camp has also expanded a very potent throwing arsenal, tossing 90 assists and 787 completions (94.60 percent rate) over his five-year pro career.
Radicals tryouts are this Saturday, January 11—register now.
